Which opportunities does the configuration of my FTP-user offer?

You have the possibility to change the password or to define specific server paths for the FTP user. The latter requires you to have a web hosting product wich allows you to manage multiple FTP users.

The server path specification is useful if you want to limit a particular FTP user to a desired directory. Thus, you can pass on the access data to another person without them having access to your other applications.

For example: 1000ftp2 shall only be able to make changes in the directory /private/ which is another folder in the /html/-folder. To realize that, simply set the server path for the FTP user to "/html/private/". When the user now logs in, the only access he has, is to the stated directory and its subdirectories.
