What does DNS mean?
The domain name System (DNS) is one of the most important services on the Internet. Its major task is the answer of inquiries to the name resolution. An often used analogy to explain the Domain Name System is that it serves as the "phone book" for the Internet by translating human-friendly computer hostnames into IP addresses. For example, www.example.com translates to 220.127.116.11.
